Reasons Why Measurements Are Unavailable
There are a few reasons why some light measurements may not be available on your device. Here's what is missing on your device:
No built-in Ambient Light Sensor (ALS)
Your device doesn’t have a built-in ambient light sensor (ALS). This is common on budget-friendly devices. It's also possible that the ALS might malfunction and not report any readings.
➡️ Go to settings (⚙️-icon on the top right) and change the light sensor to Camera to measure light intensity (PPFD, DLI, illuminance).
Front Camera Not Working
The front camera of your device (used for light measurements) is malfunctioning or broken and doesn’t return any results.
➡️ Go to settings (⚙️-icon on the top right) and change the light sensor to ALS to measure light intensity (PPFD, DLI, illuminance).
Missing Camera Capabilities
Your device lacks the required camera capabilities to measure correlated color temperature (CCT).
