About 1% for the Planet

1% for the Planet is a global organization that exists to ensure our planet and future generations thrive. 1% for the Planet inspires businesses and individuals to support environmental nonprofits through membership and everyday actions.

Started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, 1% for the Planet members such as us have given hundreds of millions of dollars to approved nonprofit partners to date.
Today, 1% for the Planet’s global network consists of thousands of businesses, individuals and environmental nonprofits working toward a better future for all.

Our Reason For Joining

Living in a world that changes rapidly, we want to contribute our part to a better future for all of us. Being a software company, joining 1% for the Planet allows us to make an impact effectively by donating to certified and impactful nonprofit organizations directly. As of now, we are on this journey alongside more than 5200 business members with big names such as Patagonia, Pukka Tea and Boxed Water.

Our donation efforts will be kept up on our sustainability page and in the 1% for the Planet member directory.
